Your clinician will evaluate your skin condition and medical history to ensure it’s the right fit for you. It is not recommended for individuals with active infections, certain skin conditions, or skin cancer. Mild redness or swelling after the procedure is common and indicates that the follicles have responded to treatment. How It Works
Before the session begins, the treatment area is shaved and a cold gel is applied to the skin. Controlled pulses of light are then directed at the area and absorbed by the hair follicles beneath the skin’s surface. This heats and damages the follicle to reduce future growth—without harming the surrounding tissue. Most people experience a warm or tingling sensation during the procedure. Much of the hair is wiped away with the gel, and the remaining hair sheds naturally over the next one to two weeks. A series of 4–6 sessions is typically recommended for optimal, long-lasting results, with visible reduction even after the first session.
